Want to Study Abroad?

The Rotary Club of Berkeley is offering scholarships to women and men for study abroad

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships are available to exceptional men and women who, in addition to study abroad, would like to represent the United States as ambassadors of good will. Scholarship applicants must currently live, work or study in the Berkeley area, have completed at least two years of college or university study, or have been employed in a recognized vocation for at least two years. Recipients are expected to make friends with people in the host country, and meet with and give talks to local Rotary clubs. Upon return, they are expected to share their experience with the Berkeley Rotary Club, other Rotary Clubs and civic groups. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to study in the foreign country of their choice. The selected country must have one or more Rotary clubs to be an eligible destination country. With clubs located in 157 countries, the opportunities are nearly unlimited.
