Attending lunch meetings

Berkeley Rotary Club meets weekly on Wednesdays (except for the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year). The meetings start at 12:30 pm and end at 1:30 pm. We gather (both on Zoom and in person) starting about 12:15, and sometimes the Q&A with speakers is extended as far as 1:45 pm. 

The Berkeley Rotary Club meets in hybrid format, in Berkeley near the UC campus and via Zoom. Our hope is that our meetings are simultaneous and fully interactive. 

In person:

All members and guests may choose to attend our in-person meeting at First Presbyterian Church, 2407 Dana St., Berkeley, CA 94704, on the northwest corner of Dana and Channing Way. Please enter at the main gated door on Channing Way, between Telegraph and Dana.

Masking is encouraged, but not required. However, if you are not feeling well, have traveled recently, or believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, then please join us by Zoom.

Parking is available in the church underground garage for a fee (payable at a kiosk near the elevators), entered from Channing. There is also a city lot directly across Channing Way.

A $10 per person cover charge will defray our expenses. Please pay by cash, check, or Venmo, particularly useful for those on Zoom.

Bring your own lunch if you like. Lunch may also be purchased for $15.  

On Zoom: 

We open the Zoom session by 12:15pm for informal gathering. The formal meeting runs from 12:30 to 1:30. Q&A may run until 1:45pm. We close the Zoom session at 1:45pm or when discussion ends.

The Zoom link is sent to members each Tuesday evening before the Wednesday meeting. If you would like to attend a meeting, please send a request by email to [email protected] so that we can add you to our Zoom invitations. Please include your name, email address, and reason for wanting to attend. We look forward to having you visit.
